Should I put pictures on cd's?

I have plenty of pictures to share but how can I put it into the

computer? Do you have to get a digital camera?

I need some advice.

  1. So, you have them stored on a card?

    you don't need a digital camera...

    if you computer doesn't have a SD slot by standard, you can use something like this: it's a card reader for SD cards, they have them for most storage medias

    That's a good one that you can get, it read SD cards, using a USB slot, which is on every computer, to my knowledge.

Hi Jypsy.   OK... you have lots of pictures... and need to send them to friends?  I do think you should have them burned.. but not to CD's.  Have them burned to DVD's, as these will hold many, many more pictures than do plain CDs.   The reason you would consider buying a digital camera is if you want to take your new pictures and afterward load them directly to the computer.   It does make picture taking and image sharing a bit easier.  Hope I was able to help.   Thanks for reading

    PSS....  you can have your pictures burned to DVD or CD by one of the local photo labs.   If you have the negatives for the pictures,  just take them.... it will make it easier for the photo technician.    :))
