Should I put this on my cover letter?

I'm writing a cover letter for a new position I'm interested in. The position requires the applicant to be computer literate. I am computer literate, but I don't have advanced skills. My resume indicates I'm literate because of my experience in data entry and maintaining a database.

Should I indicate that I'm computer literate on my cover letter, or should I only mention my greatest strengths?

Yes you can mention your computer literate, you did data entry and you obviously know how to use the internet.  The didn't ask what level your knowledge is, but they probably will in the interview.  Just be honest.  You may not have tons of exp. in computers but if you've used them and not overwhelmed then you can learn their programs.
