Should I put tile flooring throughout my whole home?

Do you mean ceramic tiles by that? If you like them I don't see why not they are much cleaner and easier to keep clean than a carpet, if you want you could also use Laminated flooring or Parquet, just to give a feeling of warmth to the bedrooms. it all depends where you live and the look that you are trying to accomplish . I like tiles in the kitchen,bath, laundry room ,mud room and foyer, but in the dining room and bedrooms I love the look of wood .

tile floors add value to a house because their more expensive and last longer.  They can be more sanitary if kept clean, and cooler in the summer.

Really it is just up to you; we can all give an opinion.  I have all tile because we live in Panama and it is so humid carpet would just be nasty.  I would LOVE to have some carpeted areas though, to be able to relax or play on the floor.  Also vacuuming seems to take less time than sweeping and mopping.  Up to you.  If I was choosing I would only put tile in the kitchen and bathroom.

I wouldn't, I like the feel of carpet when I wake up in the middle of the night.  It feels and looks warmer in the bedrooms.

I would say no. My parents did this and it just isn't a very friendly flooring for a home. I would say in high traffic areas like hallways and entryways would be fine in addition to your kitchen and bath. Leave your living rooms and bedrooms soft and welcoming.

I would say no because of resale. You might like it and if you plan on staying in your house for a long time than go for it, but if not than stray away from an all tile floor. FYI wood floors are liked the most.

I would leave carpet in the bedrooms because the floors do get cold Good Luck
