  1. fininshed highschool anyway you want and go to Collage to become a Docter

  2. I suggest talking to your parents about what they think. If you like, write a pro/con list. Don't do anything you aren't ready for, that'll only make things worse.

  3. I was homeschooled in middle school and went to public high school, then a private university, and am now in medical school.  I went to a public high school not for the sake of my education but because of the situation my family was in at the time, it just didn't seem like a good time to continue homeschooling.  I had a lot of positive experiences in public high school that I wouldn't have had at home.  I loved singing in a big choir, and I liked the science labs that I wouldn't have been able to do at home.  I was able to interact with very intelligent teachers who were very knowledgeable in their fields and helped direct my education in ways that my parents couldn't have.  Of course, there were some struggles that went with the transition, too, and you have to do what is right for you.  If it is something you want to do, though, definitely bring up the conversation with your parents.  Before I started public school I went with my parents to talk to the principal and the school counselor and that helped a lot just to know what to expect and knowing that they were there to help me.  My opinion is that you will never really know if you are ready until you put it to the test, and that the struggles of life are what help us grow and overcome.  Your freshman year of high school is a good time to start at a new school because it's kind of a level playing field when everyone comes in and starts for the first time and they're all forming new friends anyway, etc.  At the same time, you have to do what's right for you and I obviously can't force you either way.  If you are a religious person, I'd encourage you to pray about it, have your parents pray about it, and see if you find peace about the situation.  It's scary, but it's exciting too, and I'm sure you can handle it if you are really determined.  I wish you all the best!

  4. This is a hard one to answer because it sounds like you had some very serious issues in the past.

I would for sure consult with your parents and  the school counselors, and maybe even teachers, if you feel that would help you make your decision.

There is something to be said for putting on a fresh face and beginning anew.

Do you have choices as far as which high school to attend?

Maybe there is another one in your area that you could attend?

I think it will help you to continue to communicate your feelings with your parents and any others that support you as consider starting this new journey.

I wish you the very best of luck in your all your endeavors!

PS It would be pretty easy for me to sit here and say "go back".  But you really have to know what is the very best for you!
