Should I quit school because the world is ending??

Question

Ive been hearing all kinds of things about how the world is gonna end in 2012. Normally I'd be like "ha, yeah right"... but what if this is really it? I have 3 more years till I get my degree.. what if the world really does end and I've wasted time that I could of been living it up??

2012 is just the end of the Mayan calender..but things aren't looking so good right now so the world really might end, who  knows..but like i said no one is too sure so i wouldnt go and mess things up for myself, like quitting school. if the world was going to end for sure, i would definelty get out of school cause i hate that bullshit..i would do some other stuff as well and probably accidently die on my own hahahah

obviously the statement about the world ending is subjective, so you should make this decision yourself. what do you really think about it?

I've been asking myself the same question a lot lately.

A piece of me just wants to drop everything I'm doing that doesn't make me happy and s***w planning for the future, just in case the world does in 2012, or tomorrow, or whatever.

I think the plan I've settled on is being in a place that makes me happy and doing things that I enjoy WHILE preparing for the future, just in case I have one : )

The world might not end. It is predicted in 3 cultures that it will be the end of the world though. The likelihood of it ending in just about 3 1/2 years is EXTREMELY unlikley. Although in my opinion, if Mccane becomes prez. and this war continues 2012 will be world war 3

What if the world doesn't end in 2012?  Then you would have just wasted your time living it up and not accomplishing anything.
