Should I quit school?

Well here it goes,

I want to become a computer programmer/designer. Because I am going to create a large corporation like making games, consoles, software etc.

But am I wasting my time in Year 7 learning fractions and stuff when I could be at home learning C++ and Python?

I am in Australia at the moment, but want to move to Greece in the future, and that will mean I have to do military service for 6 months which I don't mind.

So what should I do?

And by the way, I am not going to be some stereotypical high school dropout.

I am going to learn at home, but at the same time have fun!

  1. Even though you want to be an owner of a business, in my experience it is lightyears easier to get resources for businesses if you at least have a high school diploma. Good Luck in the military regardless

  2. Do you really think anyone on here is going to tell you to quit school (seriously?)? That is the WORST thing you could do. If you're going to have your own business, you are going to want people with college degrees working for you most likely, so why shouldn't you have a degree yourself out of respect for them?

  3. do what ever you think will help your future.

  4. no! don't quit schooling because if you will finished your study ,, you will have a great opportunity that will come in near future...

  5. DO NOT DROP OUT! IT'S HARDER TO GO TO COLLEGE WITHOUT HAVING GRADUATED FROM HIGH SCHOOL...DON'T QUIT MY FRIEND:)
