  1. ICE SKATING??

Everyone feels that way about skateboarding. I skate and there are always kids younger and better but thats because they started at like age 4 or 5. I was int he same possion as you when i started. same age to actually. Age doesn't matter its how long you have been skating. Everyone no's how they were when they started skating so they won't look at you any different.

  2. No, you could always take private lessons or talk to the director of the program, tell him/her you'd like to be in a class with kids your age.

  3. Don't quit.  No matter how old you are or how good you get, there's always some little........kid that is better.  Story of my life.  At lessons, ask the director if there is a class of older kids you could skate with -- even if they're a level or two up, just means you'll have to work a little harder.  Or see if there is an adult class that you'd feel more comfortable in.  I started lessons as 12 and skated with the adult class because I sure didn't want to be hangin' with the 7-year-olds!  Don't quit something you love for a reason like that.  Just think -- when the kids that are "better" reach your age, they'll probably have already quit.  :)  Eh, it's the name of the game in skating.....some little ones are great, til they hit puberty or discover there's more to life than skating....and they quit.  More ice for us!  haha Keep skating! :)

  4. If its ice skating i say no bcuz there's a long way to go in that its exactly like me and hockey ive been playing since i was 6 sometimes i wanted to quit and next year im going to play in the juniors i say u stick to it its annoying to do it right now but after u quit ull miss it and you will never be able to do it again trust me i no soo DONT QUIT good luck :)

  5. dont worry my problem was a little diffenent like when i started doing flips and lutzes i wanted to quit because i was terrified to do them and not to mention my coach is very tough but i didnt quit and now i can land them both with flying colors and i love skating now and im not scared at all i think if you love it you should stick with it it dosnt matter it those kids are better than you because their thinking the same thing trust me someone will al ways be better than you and thats life i think all you need to make you feel better is to lend a new jump or finish out a new spin after you do that quiting will bw the last thing on your mind and if not mabey ask your caoach if you can come a nother time because i go monday and friday but friday is so much funner because the ice is usually empty and theirs cant be anyone better than you if your the only one out their

  6. Of course not! that's a stupid reason (no offense) just becacuse you feel stupid. if you love it so much then who cares? skate for you not for anyone else. and you shouldnt feel dumb there are 7 year olds better then me and i'm twicec their age and i dont plan on quitting any time soon. because i know with practice i'll catch up.
