I started volunteering at a library as a cd shelver and one day i was told to put away the books in the shelves and that was fine

but today one of the people got mad at me for putting away books because im not a trained book shelver and i need to only stick to the CD's

it insulted me a lot because they told me i can do it last time and its not like im causing any harm in doing so

Should i just quit cause it just really pissed me off

  1. No. You'll need your volunteering to get references for real jobs in the future. Unfortunately there was a misunderstanding. Talk to your supervisor and explain the situation, and perhaps request that you are trained to take up more responsiblities.

  2. nope   just explaining you were trying to help and if they can train you in the right way, you'll do a better job next time.

    dont be a quitter
