Should I read Breaking Dawn????

I bought Breaking Dawn not realising it was part of a series..I havent read the other books..so should I just read it..or get the other books first??

Yeah wat the other people said, read Twilight, New Moon, and Eclipse before Breaking Dawn.

And I swear those books are like gold. Pure Gold, that you don't want to lose.

i really think that you should get the other books first for you won't just not understand a lot of things you'll also maybe not like the book because you'll feel it's really over reacting and the characters are over board and every character truly has a long past you should know for u to understand why they r acting that way and ofcourse you'll need to know the history

i know because you see alot of people talking about twilight and u feel it's really amazing (and it is) so u want to read it fast and can't wait ..i have a friend who also can't wait for her order to come in the library for the other books and thinking of reading it but you really will have to wait

In some series you can read them out of order and it's okay, but for this series I would read them in order. There are four books in total. "Breaking Dawn" is the fourth.

"Twilight" is the first book in the series. I would go out and buy/read that one first.

The whole series is good. You might want to just get all the books so you don't have to keep driving back to the bookstore for the next one.

my opinion is to read the other books BEFORE you read Breaking Dawn because it's going to be really difficult to follow if you dont know whats going on ya know?? i hope i help!!

You can read it, the way Stephanie Meyer writes her books, you can read the series out of order and still have a pretty good grasp on what is going on, she uses a lot of flashbacks and such.  I would recommend you read the others, because it really is like a wicked awesome series, but, if you already bought Breaking Dawn, you can read it first ... but its like the BEST of the series.   I mean, of course its totally up to yooouuu.  ;)

you should read the other books in the series so you'll understand them (twilight, new moon, eclipse). Just like if you're watching a tv show. You have to watch the first season to understand the second (ex. lost, prison break) =)

Get the other books first!!!!!!!!!

You HAVE to read them in order to make sense of it and to feel the love and excitement - it is the best series in the whole history of the universe!!

Read them in this order!!! It will take you no time at all as you won't be able to put them down! Trust me - it is the best series of books ever and you will fall head over heels for Edward Cullen (this I can promise you) , but if you only read breaking dawn you will ruin the whole series and it will make no sense and the emotional bond between you and the characters will never be.

Buy them from the internet - Amazon or ebay or something like that if you are on a tight budget, but YOU HAVE TO GET THE OTHERS. In fact, they are so good, that if I were you, I would go to the bookstore RIGHT NOW and buy them.

Best books ever! Read them and you will see. It's one of the most pleasurable and enjoyable things you will ever do. They are fanatastic books and you HAVE to read them in order.

You will laugh, cry, smile, shout and scream with joy and anger. The plot line is the best, but you have to read the other books to fully understand it.

The Twilight saga is amazing and anyone who doesn't read all of the books is missing out completely! READ THEM ALL - you won't be dissapointed - I promise!!!!!!!

I would advise reading the others first.  The books are part of a continuing saga, not self-contained adventures, and I think it is really better to read them in order, starting with Twilight.

NOOOO! First Twilight WAY better than breaking down, secondly- You'll have no idea what going on! Third- I don't have a third but pertend I did becouse when your making a point you have to have three good points.
