  1. i  dont have a carbon footprint,,i drive everywhere

  2. Stop exhaling CO2

  3. Reduce, definitely.  If you can also afford to offset the bits you can't reduce, then do so as well.

The biggest problem we are facing and will continue to face is increasing energy use.  Global energy use is increasing exponentially and while renewable energies are gaining ground, the amount of coal and oil being consumed each year is still rising.

We all need to use less energy.

  4. There is no such thing as a carbon footprint, it is a total nonsense

  5. Reduce,

    Offsetting denies personal responsibility.

Just like the large corperations that for the last 6 years have been offsetting their c/footprints to places like India. Now that, that country is on an economical/productive march. It has nowhere to 'offset' its own c/footprint.

Offsetting is no different than a pyramid scheme. Only those at the start/top get any real benefits.

  6. We are all responsible for climate change and we all must be part of the solution. Agua-Luna Com makes it simple for anyone, or any organization, to reduce and offset their carbon emissions. How does it work? Follow these simple steps that take you through the process.

    How does it work?

Even if you have already reduced your driving and electricity use, there's more you can do. You can neutralize the rest of your pollution—through offsets. When you buy offsets, you essentially pay someone to reduce or remove global warming pollution in your name.

For example, when you buy 10 tons of carbon offsets, 10 fewer tons of global warming pollution go into the atmosphere. While the pollution you produce yourself is the same, you get the credit for that 10-ton reduction.

You can use our FREE Carbon Calculator at www agua-luna com to determine your own Carbon Footprint, and then take the actions to offset it with our help.

As Agua-Luna actually performs the Offset in a first person chain (Ie Reforestation, Alternative Energy Projects, etc), eliminating the middleman, sales teams, and unnecessary fees. For more info check out www agua-luna com

There are many options to choose from, including, Offests by the Ton, per person per day, per car, per family, per year, per life time, etc.

I’ve written several how-to DIY guides available at  www agua-luna com on the subject. I also offer online and on-site workshops, seminars and internships to help others help the environment.

  7. The so-called 'carbon footprint' is only one factor in the complex relationship between humanity and the rest of nature.  The picture is MUCH bigger than the oxidation of carbon.

If you want humanity to last longer, then you will reduce your impact on the earth, its resources and its other occupants.  We CANNOT return to a lifestyle that is impact neutral.  We will always convert some earth resource into a form that is not recyclable within a sustainable time scale.  Consequently, humanity's days are numbered and we cannot help but take various other species with us.  All we can influence is the time frame.

The earth will survive and will establish a new equilibrium.  Some other life form will rise to the top of the food chain and may or may not evolve in time to over-reproduce and over-consume just as we did.

If we don't reduce our 'carbon footprint' along with our demands on energy and resources in general, you will see significant changes in your lifetime.  Your choice.  Personally, I am not an environmentalist and don't actually believe mankind, as a species, is worth saving but I do believe it is right to live my life in a way that still gives choices to your children (not mine as I chose not to breed).

  8. Sam is right there is no such thing, the climate has always been changing.  There was an ice age before humans arrived! the continents where all together not separate islands!

It's all a money making exercise, don't be conned.  I am supposed to be concerned with a couple of puffs of deodorant while air plane companies pollute the air with trillions of gallons of fuel!  Don't think so.
