Should I rent skis or snowboard this weekend?

I haven't skied in about 10 yrs, but could comfortably handle almost all terrain/levels. But I have never snowboarded! My kids both recieved snowboards for Christmas (neither have ever tried snowboarding). Anyway, My boot broke and I will now need to rent equipment. Should I stick with what I used to know or try something completely new?

Since the kids got snowboards this year def. go that route.  I think that would be fun for all of you.

stick wit skiing personally i find it more enjoyable (and you can get up if you fall face first in powder with no hill)

snowboard-something new you could try with your kids and have a fun time learning it together

try something new its always good... now you can say that you can snowboard and skii lol
