Should I repierce my ears myself?

I had my lobes pierced like 7 years ago.. And I took my earrings out for a few months and I thought they blocked.. And then I had my mom's friend look at my lobes, and she said they weren't blocked. She told me to get an earring and just find the hole and re-pierce it. It worked for my left lobe. Its been about a week, and it hasn't been infected. I used a real gold earring. But I think the back of my right lobe is blocked. I found the hole, but it won't go through the back! Should I still try to pierce it myself?

owww thats gonna hurt!! but u probably should so that u dont have to walk around w/ only one ear pierced
