Should I report the guy who gave his 3 month old some popsicles?

First of all.. the child is mine... the guy is my husband.. I don't agree with him doing that because that's too much for his little tummy to handle. And I want to "scare" my hub into quitting or something.

Uh no! There is nothing wrong with giving a baby popsicles, especially if the baby is teething. It keeps their gums from being so sore.

report? You mean to CPS? No, giving a baby popsicles is not considered abuse. Its not recommended to give a baby that young so much sugar but reporting them will do no good.

report? Like as in child abuse?  they are a little young for sugar at that point however I don't think they have the time to follow up on something that little.  They would probably laugh you off the phone.  

Really a taste probably wouldn't hurt them at that age even though they don't really benefit from the sugar at any age.  I stuck a little otter pop in my child's mesh teething bag when his teeth were hurting just a taste I usually put an ice cube in it but didn't have any at the time so I gave him a tiny piece.  He was about 6 months old though.

No! Giving your baby taste of things is fine. I mean he shouldn't be letting the baby suck on it. You don't want to take a chance of a piece breaking off and the baby getting choked on it. CPS is for real abuse not something as minor as that. While a social worker is taking the time to go and talk to the man and tell him that it is prob. not the healthiest thing to give the baby popcicle they could be saving a child that really needs them.

Grow up! Children and babies can have anything you want to give them. Did your child scream all night? Break out in hives? Throw up? Then it didn't bother him. My brother ate half of an ice cream cone at 2 weeks old. The only reason doctors say babies cannot handle any thing but formula and breast milk is because they are probably getting a kick back from formula companies. Have you ever talked to your parents or grandparents about what they were fed when little? My best friend couldn't handle milk when she was little and her doctor told her mom to give her tea and that is all she drank until about 2 years old. Check for allergies and feed your child what ever you want. Why would you want to report someone over nothing? You are totally screwed up if you are going to report something this stupid. Try some mature communication and grow up.
