Should I restrict my wife's reading material?

Lately my wife has taken to reading books on feminism and visiting feminism websites. She has been getting very uppity and telling me I should get my own beer and iron my own shirts.

She has even threatened to withhold s*x.. Not a big problem as she has put on a lot of weight in the last two years and I have a mistress.

Should I put parental control on the allowed content of our home computer? (I can set it to disallow websites with keywords) I have already thrown all those books she had away.. and I am considering blocking her ATM card and talking away her driving privileges so she can't replace them anytime soon..

I want to be firm but fair.

Any advice out there?

this is from a husband - man get a life, if you don't like her get divorced and free the woman from your cheating ways. You should get your own beer and iron your own shirts. h**l if she hit you with the iron it shouldn't surprise you.

she is exploring life and your not her master or parent! If what you think marriage is about is having a woman you can control like a child then someone needs to restrict your life and control you with well I will be nice but your just wrong all around with this question.

Just tell her that if she isn't going to fetch you beer and iron your shirts then she needs to hit the pavement. It is shocking to me how many wives today can't treat their men like the king he is. Don't they understand that making him comfortable is our Job! I say take in your Mistress and get rid of the wife. The mistress will probably obey you and she probably isn't near as fat as your wife.

First off, you are not her parent. She is an adult. Second, she is probably aware at some level that you are cheating on her- and working on her self- esteem to walk out on your lousy butt.

I've been married twice and I remember pretty distinctly that the words 'partner' were put into play. Don't remember any mention of my husband to become my father. That's incest; it is not marriage.

Taking away her 'privilege' will give her lots of grounds for divorce, besides the simple case of adultery - and few judges are going to side with you, buddy. I hope she takes you to the cleaners.

Umm...your wife is an adult and should be able to read what she likes. If you block your computer she can just go to the library. You can't be a tyrant like this. Be a spouse. You should have an equal partnership.
