Should I retake the SAT II?

I got a 620 on SAT II U.S. History should i retake it in the fall?

  1. I assume you have taken a US history course.

    For the record, I took the US History SAT after buying and reading through a Kaplan test prep book. I scored 730. I am not an American and I have never taken much interest in American history prior to reading the prep book.

    I suggest you retake the exam.

It depends on what College you are trying to get into, that is a very good score you have already for many colleges, but if you are attempting to get into an Ivy League which you probably are because you are taking the test or a higher scale college. Then I suggest you retake it and go for at least a 680 and up, hopefully at least a 700. I have to retake my SAT Subject Test in US History and I am taking one in Literature in October so I know how you feel in terms of whether or not having to retake it.
