Question:

Should I return my Sanyo 32" HDTV from Walmart?

I recently purchased a Sanyo 32" HDTV flatscreen from Walmart for the great price of $616.00 tax included. I looked online and saw some problems with Sanyo and am wondering if I should return it back. I know it may have some problems but I googled other companies and found complaints with them as well. Also I've had 2 low name brand tvs and they have lasted more than 5 years, Apex and Daewoo, so why would this be any different? I need comments from people who own this particular tv or from the Sanyo brand to give me assurance that I made a good decision.By the way if I return this tv back to walmart I'm not getting another one because I heard they don't last long. When 2009 comes along I'll just get a converter box when the switch to digital takes place.

  1. if you look at a few of the posts here, it seems that there can

    be problems with any brand regardless of cost. i own a 37"

    sanyo, and i bought it because it was somewhat of a brand

    name vs. the other ones. price was an issue. so far have been

    very happy with the purchase. it sounds like the newer LCD

    tv's do not last as long as my old 15-20 year old tube version

    anyway. i can remember when samsung and LG{goldstar}

    was low end, now it is considered high end, how does that

    work? thanks
