Should I say thanks to every person who writes "happy birthday" on my wall?

A bunch of people wished me happy bday on facebook, I wonder if I should say thanks to each of them?

It would be nice, but not necessary.  Just post once saying "Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes".

you can reply on your face book to all of them.. you do not need to email everyone..

I would!  I think everyone would appreciate that you took the time to acknowledge each one individually.  Best of all, they'll remember you next year as well! Oh - and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

you should say something on the section that says (NAME) is... and say something along the lines of  "browney is thanking everyone for all their good birthday wishes" or something like that. and then if there's anyone that you would like to thank in particuar then you can post a thank you comment on their facebook.

I think you should try and thank as many as possible. It lets them know you appreciate that they acknowledged. your birthday, Of course it depends on how many signed it and convenient it is to get to each one

Is there a way you could email them?

Yep, just send a mass message saying, "Thank you so much for wishing me a happy birthday!" Happy birthday, by the way! Good for you for being polite.

I'm not sure how facebook works, but can you post a headline or bulletin? If so, you could just post a general one thanking everyone and not have to thank them individually. You should acknowledge that they said happy birthday, tho. They took the time to wish you a happy birthday so you should take the time to thank them.
