Should I see a eye specialist?

Question

My eyes remain red all day . I use eye drops for redness but the redness return after a few hour . I went to the doctor and he said that I have 20/20 vision but did not say much about the redness . I do know what to do should I see a eye specialist ( I spend a lot of time on the computer for work)

Id get a second opinion by going to a diff eye doctor.  Computers aren't good for your eyes.  If it is just redness, its probably a lack of sleep but if your eyes are irritated or burn or you produce tears easily (without trying) you probably have an eye infection which can be cured with medicine the eye doctor can give you

Try using rewetting drops throughout the day...see if that helps. If that doesn't help try taking breaks throughout the day to give your eyes a break from staring at the screen. You probably aren't blinking while on the computer or you have some allergy problems.. if the first doesn't work try an eye drop with an antihistamine in it such as Alaway(zaditor)

I would recommend using Thera Tears lubrication. Any pharmacy has it. It works well for computer work.
