I've been having pain on the left side of my mouth a few times week. It feels like it's deep in my gums, so I figure I need to see a periodontist. But it might be related to the fact that my fillings have come out on that side....so maybe a regular dentist would know how to treat it? I'm not sure...

  1. If you think it's a gum problem then you should see a periodontist.

  2. See a General Dentist for your pain caused by the loss of fillings.  A Periodontist is a specialist who's focus is the health of your gum tissues.  The reason you feel pain deep in your gums is because the nerves of your teeth are exposed and they run down the roots of the tooth into the jaw bone.
