The other day at work, I fell between two steel beems and all my weight went onto my knee. I hung there for a second or two on it, and when I got out, it felt like i had broken it. It hurt all day, but I could, and still can walk, and it doesnt hurt as bad today when I walk, but it feels very slightly stiff and when I barely touch the inside of my knee (right side) it hurts extremely bad. Also, my whole upper leg felt cramped up the first few hours after it happend. Its not swollen or bruised but I dont want to do any serious damage to it, but I also dont want to waist any of the company's time/money. Thanks!

  1. yes

  2. yes! See a doctor! That happened to me and it turned out i broke my leg!

  3. It's not a waste of company time or money to make sure it's employees are fit to work. It's actually in their best interest as well as you're own so go see the doctor. it's not like your boss will be paying for it personally. The company will be a part of a scheme. Put yourself first. No one else will!

  4. Was it reported and written up? If so go see the Dr and get them to check it out and write their findings and take it back to work. If you never mentioned it or got a report written up at work there won't be anything you can do about it or anything they can do about it as they didn't know. You could also follow it up with workplace health and safety to see what steps to take to ensure all is done properly. I know this as this happened to my hubby and he had to have the whole incident written up in a report. Good luck.  :)
