  1. The goldfish will be happier with more room to himself.  And you won't have to clean the tank as much.

Maybe you can work out a visitation arrangement...

  2. Goldfish are a species of carp and grow up to 30cm (1ft or 12inches) long, they are also a temperate fish and should be kept in water less than 10 degrees celcius and need a lot of space so a pond would be ideal.

Mollys are also a tropical fish and should be kept in tropical temperatures, ideally 22-28C (72-82F).

  3. Well...keeping Mollies and Goldfish together is a bad idea, they both need different temperatures, goldfish prefer cooler as to mollies who like warmer, and aquarium salt added as well. I would either up-grade to at least a 20 gallon for your goldfish and keep the mollies in the 10 gallon. Sell him some mollie babies, you'll end up with some soon.

  4. do u know if this person will take good care of him. if u love him then dont do it.

  5. $5 is a very generous offer for your goldfish which has outgrown your tank and will soon need a bigger home.  You would be doing it a favor by selling it.  You can always go visit your goldfish later at his new home if you miss him.  He will have longer fins, brighter color and grow bigger and stronger in the pond.

  6. If you love your fish, don't sell it.  If you don't really care that much about, sell it to someone who would.  I love all my fish (Balloon Mollies, Betta Fish, Pearl Gourami, etc.).  It is not weird to love your pet.  I also love my Crested Gecko, Leopard Gecko, and Chinese Hamster.  I say keep it if you love it.

  7. sell him, for the good of your goldfish. if you love him do what's best for him. common goldfish get up to 18" and should be in tanks of at least 50g (so if you can't afford a 20g I'm willing to bet a 50g is way out of the question...). a pond will be much better, especially if you know he'll be taken care of :)

  8. well if you love your pet why bother selling it for less.  Loving your pet is not weird its natural.

    kOi keeper & goldifish

  9. if u love him then dont sell him tell him to go to

the petstore and by sum from there theres lots of

em there if his getting a big for it get a bigger tank

just remember dont over feed ur fish if u see green water

    put fresh water in..
