Should I send SAT/SATII or ACT scores?

I'm beginning my college applications, and some colleges give the choice of either sending SAT & SATII scores or just the ACT score. I've taken the SAT and ACT but have yet to take any SATII's. Should I take the upcoming SATII's and improve my SAT score or work on improving my ACT score? or something else?

I did both the SAT/SAT II and ACT paths.  It gives you two opportunities to get the best possible score, and some people simply fare better on one than the other.  Also, I feel that having both (assuming both are good) makes you look consistent.
