I know one woman very well online, and her father just died. However, I know there was some abuse there and they didn't always get along, but they seemed to have made up (somewhat) in previous days. Do I send a sympathy card saying "I'm sorry for your loss?"

  1. It's always nice to send a written card.  I'd recommend sending a card that says something along the lines of:

"I am thinking of you during this difficult time and am keeping you in my prayers."

It doesn't condone the abuse and still acknowledges a loss and troubled time.

    Best wishes.

  2. say your sorry ..................

    due to her loss............

she can then morn in any way she chooses

  3. i would send a card. she would be happy that you were thinking of her even if they didnt have a good relationship.

  4. I think it would be nice to send.

although he abused her, i am sure she still feels grief on some level.

I think it would be thoughtful

  5. I would acknowledge her loss without making it real flowery.  I will be she will like hearing from you.
