Should I send a thank you email? ( i got hired )?

Someone who had an ad to work at a restaurant emailed me for an interview and she told me I would be interviewed by the kitchen manager, I did the interview today and I got hired, should I send a thank you email to her? If I do can you give me an example? thanks

This site says within 24 hours you

should send a Thank You letter.

So I would say that an email would

be acceptable.

Just thank them for their time and that

you appreciate everything.

I would send a thank you email, yes.

Sample: I'm really looking forward to working with the staff there and I know I can make great contributions to the position because (I enjoy greeting people, have visited the restaurant before and love it, etc). Please let me know if you have any additional questions before I start. I will see you on Monday at 5pm.
