Question:

Should I send out my staff to clean up the village?

Following a small accident involving an Edwardian vacuum cleaner and a bottle of sherry, I have managed to coat the village square in eighteen tonnnes of raw sewage.

From my study, I can see the villagers doing their best to clean it up but to be honest, at this rate it will take weeks. Ought I, for public relations, send out a few of my servants to help, given that it was my funny jape that cause this horrendous mess?

  1. yes sir! please do!

  2. Certainly not, so accidents happen, so what ? dammit Marmalade, you will be down on your knees apologising next, never know where it will end up.

  3. Yes. It is your moral obligation to clean it up. Send your personal servants to help the villagers to do the needful. You are a responsible person. good luck

  4. Sir Marmalade,

You are much too good to these peasants. After all the sewage is good fertiliser for the village green . Leave it to mature.

Oh and by the way, don't forget to send them a bill for your most excellent services.

    Yours grovellingly,

    The Butler.

  5. My Friend you mustn't wait to ask us just take the initiative and go to clean up the mess by your self even b4 that your staff started to do it.

  6. You are a true philanthropist. A veritable fountain of the milk of human kindness. Send your staff down there for just a couple of minutes to give a helping hand. Do too much and I fear that the villagers (really common folk) may not show you the proper respect and fear that a man of your obvious stature deserves.

  7. i think that the village would really appreciate it and it will do wonders for the village itself!!!   but have village reimburse for all supplies you furnish!!!!

  8. I say old chap that is a very decent thing for you to do............

  9. That would be kind of you to do so. It will make you feel good too!

  10. It always looks good to muck in oneself, my dear sir.

It may do wonders for your standing with your neighbours if not only your servants but also yourself help clean up the mess.

By the way, what the deuce were you doing with an Edwardian vacuum cleaner?  I'm the only person who owns one around these parts and that disappeared last time I held a dinner party... I had thought Rotter had taken it for a jape but evidently that wasn't the case...

  11. Get your gloves on Grandad and do it yourself.

  12. i'm fed up of you and your stupid questions about your snobbyness and servents. just put all your servents in a blender for all i care. lol

  13. My good man --- just assure that you send your staff out with pitchforks and such.  Word is, the monster is loose in the village and will need dispatching.  Now, there's a good fellow. -- oh, forget the windmill, it's been burned down you know.
