Should I set my items aside or try to return what I can if they are not selling on Kijiji or Craigslist?

I've had cd players, coby cd player and emerson cd player, fake cx300-w headphones, and some other stuff up for months on cl with no interested buyers. I am thinking of moving them down to the basement out of my room to clear up space, or try to return to get money back. I can't use eBay, don't have verified PayPal account and don't know how to ship large items.
