Should I shave my chest and armpits for college?

I'm not sure if it makes any difference but I'm currently 18 years old and I'm about to go to college in 2 weeks and I'm not very athletic.

If you wanna get rid of it, wax it and don't shave it. Shaving creates stubble.

I think if you want to, go ahead.  I have done this in the past...and let me tell you, maintenance on the chest is a not fun.....I wish I could just get it lasered off myself...but whatever....so I just keep it trimmed short...and that seems to work.

What is the occasion?  Just going to college???
