I dropped out of my other one. Not because of bad acting (although I couldn't seem to find my "character", which is usually something that I have natural talent with), but because of the scripts. I simply didn't have the courage (or willpower) to memorize them. A couple weeks ago, a friend of mine jokingly pointed out that I couldn't memorize a script, but I could memorize complex music. I tried singing some pages out of a book and, for some reason, I remembered most of it. Does that mean that I should use that approach to memorizing scripts (and sign up for another acting class)?
