Should I skip a day or go every day?

I've already worked out 3 or 4 times this week. I've really increased the intensity of my workouts and am very busy w/school. I was wondering if it was o.k. to skip a day or two in between workouts. I'm just getting worn out. I'm still getting in about 3 or 4 good workouts a week on average...I just spread them out.

  1. Yes you should be able to skip a day in between workouts. It sounds like you are already working hard with what your doing at the minute.

It is recommended that we work out 3-4 times a week anyway, so its fine to take a break inbetween. I know its important that we push ourselves but its also important not to over do it and take a break now and then.

Good Luck and keep up what your doing :)

  2. Hi. My son is a trainer, and he says it's actually better to skip a day in between working out. If you wanted to go everyday, just work a different part of your body then you worked on the day before. As long as your just working out to keep in shape, 3 to 4 times a week is great. Good Luck :-)

  3. yes thats absolutely fine. in fact, they recommend to go every second day to begin with...so you're good!

  4. oh poor baby you just need to spread me out instead, and during tired periods we can always have a siesta on your big comfy bed where you can use me as a pillow and float away into dreamland for a while oh it would be perfect he he
