Should I smile with braces or closed lips?

Today I have to take an ID picture for my ID and I'm not sure how to smile. I have braces so I'm not really sure if I should smile with my teeth. What do you think?

For a family photo or one with your friends I would say mouth, open, and let your natural smile face shine.

But for the ID...mouth closed.

smile with your teeth! i smiled with closed lips one year(because i had braces) for my school picture and they turned out really bad.

It's really up to you, not us out here in Internet land.

Are you comfortable with your braces, and how you look? Then show them off, be proud of the fact that your family cares enough to spend thousands on your dental health, and record this phase of your life.

Do they bother you? Then keep your lips sealed.

Big cheesy smiles in ID's are kinda lame anyways, even if you don't have braces. I'd just give a little cute smile mouth closed that should be good enough.

Hi!! i have braces too, and when someones taking a pic of me i always keep my mouth closed. i dont look good with my teeth showing with my braces in pictures, but you might. so really its up to you. if i were you i would hide the braces. hope i helped :)

smile with your teeth! it will show others how confident you are and smiling with your mouth closed can be awkward looking...
