  1. You don't need to confess to anyone but the Lord, and He already knows, so you shouldn't be ashamed. Just do what you're comfortable with. I've done some things I'm not proud of at all, and I ask for forgiveness everyday, some days I cry with regret from even thinking about them, He knows that you're truly sorry and if you don't want to think about it, don't. He knows what you're talking about.

My advice is, if you've confessed to Him once, He knows, and that's the end... I wish I could follow my own advice!!

  2. no - the lord knows what impure sins r

  3. If you are talking about Catholic confession, you can be general, and then if the priest wants more information you can be specific. Unless you are being general out of a sense of pride, that is considered sinful. If you are just doing it out of respect for the confessor, in the issue of time and decorum, that is OK, but if you are doing it because you don't want to admit and face the seriousness of your sins, then you should be specific.

  4. When you Confess to God..Specify your Sins

  6. Hi,  Trina:

If anyone sin, he has an advocate with the father, Jesus Christ.  We must confess private sins to God, and ask for forgiveness if we wrong others.

Let me look up a site for you:  It's http://www.biblebelievers.com/chiniquy/p...

A priest tells how the purest woman and most devout priest have fallen into sin because of such intimate conversations during confessional.

Pope Pius IV heard of this and ordered women to admit their "priestly sins' so he could take actions. Sixty notaries and scribes took testimonies from women for thirty days--it was extended for another thirty, then another thirty. finally the whole project was canceled as there were too many fallen priests to prosecute.

1 John   2:1   "My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

2:2   And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for [the sins of] the whole world.

2:3   And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.

2:4   He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him."

Notice that it did not say the priest or Mary is the advocate.

Shalom, peace in Jesus, Ben Yeshua

  7. Jesus did not set up intermediaries. If a church puts themselves in the middle between you and God, it is the wrong church. More on my bio.

  8. both you and God know what u did impure is a good description of the sins you can let it go at that if you choose it is more important to repent of those things that to name them

  9. You should because sometimes we get wrong impressions of things and what we think is sinful or potentially sinful may not really be so.  others also gloss over some of their actions thinking they were innocuous but by deeper analysis are lethal to the soul.

  10. YES every single sin you have done should be brought to light and admitted too.

  11. If you know, confess and truly repent your sins in your heart, GOD will forgive you, for you will try not to repeat them.
