Should I spend a additional one thousand dollars for a moon roof and alloy wheels or not?

Question

it will be a family car for my 6 month old and 7 year old and my husband to drive to work occasionally

do I really need alloy wheels

is a moon roof nice to have?

husband does a lot of highway driving and I rarely drive

it is a nissan altima by the way

I personally like a moonroof so much that I won't buy a new car if it doesn't have one. I like the open air feeling with the added safety of a solid roof. That being said, if you can't justify the added expense, I agree with the earlier post - use the extra money for gas. Keep in mind though, that these options will partially repay for themselves by increasing your resale or trade-in value in the future. Good luck with your purchase whatever you decide!

moon roof sun roofs are cool.

once you have one you'll not want a car without one.

but you really don't "need" one.

does he smoke? it's nice to pop the back and get the bad air out.

you can look up and see if the light changed from yellow to red  ;)

you won't get your money back on the upgrade. it depends on how much you really want it! to me i would never buy another car without a sun roof, but if i was on a budget it would be something to think about.

That's not a bad price for alloys and roof.  The car looks horrible with wheel cover.  Go for it.
