Should I start Drew Brees or Kurt Warner?

Warner is playing the 49ers.

Thats a tough one.  I love Brees, but the Bucs have a good D.  And I love Warner this week against an awful team.  But I think you gotta stick with your stud in Brees though.

Brees is a stud qb.  Definitely in the top 5 of fantasy qbs.  warner is at best a borderline top 10 more likely a top 15 qb, definitely not a #1 fantasy qb, but make a solid #2 qb.  Basic rule of fantasy says you never bench you stud, based on matchups.  and rule applies here as well.  You can not bench brees for warner.

i have the same EXACT situation on my fantasy team. in my league its 25 yards per point (no fractional points) and 6 points for a TD.

Warner should have a great game with his receivers (gore, boldin, fitz and davis). but you should be wary that arizona doesnt have much of a running game and san fransisco will probably sit back and wait for them to throw.

Brees, in my opinion, will have the better fantasy day. the bucs defense is older and i dont think their secondary is as good as SFs. also, brees threw the most passes in the nfl last year, and with great receivers like bush and colston and patten and henderson and now they have shockey, i like brees to have a better day than warner.
