Should I start Edgerrin James or Chris Johnson?

Question

I know that Chris is a newbie, but they have been saying amazing things about him. I just don't know if the risk will come with a great enough reward. Now on the other hand, they are not expecting James to do much... so I am still not sure. What do you think? I wish I could just play McGahee, but he is hurt...

Edge.  Wait until Johnson proves himself, when it doubt take the clear cut starters unless the matchup is really bad.

can u get ray rice hes mcgahees back up... def chris johnson . I would never start edge, unless he was going aganist the worst defense in the league.

between the two i'd go james just because johnson hasnt proven himself. its the first week..u dont HAVE to win..the major goal is to get a feel for your team and see who's doing what and then make adjustments accordingly..if u dont have a good feel for your team by week 4..then most likely your players are inconsistent and you need to make some changes...other than that mcgahee is still playing so i'd even consider him over the other two anyways...hope this extra info helps...

they are both in same situation.  they both have vultures taking there TD's.  white for the titans and Hightower for the cardinals.  the biggest difference is james will get more carries but johnson could break oe and score.  i would use james because SF defense is much weaker then jacksonville.  you could always pick up ray rice if he is available.
