Should I start a countdown to when pitchers and catchers report to spring training?

Listen to some radio drama. there are several websites that have it to stream or download. Some of it's free some of it you pay for but the rates are reasonable. Do Google Search. Counting down days is boring. Besides 2009 won't be any better. They traded away their talent. It's gonna be another rebuilding project. Since I'm old I'll probably be dead when they contend again.

Haha as a White Sox fan I feel your pain. Not this year, but last year we were in the same position and I just wanted the season to end.

And it will end, so don't get overworked when the Tigers are not in the playoffs.

I can't see them not contending next year though.

Being a Tigers fan I'd say yes, go ahead and start counting down the days.  As a Cubs fan, I'm looking for that magic number to be 0.  Then I'm hoping they can make it all the way through October.  From there I will go to football season and once the Super Bowl is over I will begin my countdown to spring training.

How do you know for sure when pitchers and catchers will report? It seems to me that the manger of the team selects the day that the pitchers and catchers report, and some mangers might have the pitchers and catchers report earlier then other mangers do.
