Should I start looking into agents?

Okayy.

I am 13 years old, 5'6 ishh, auburn hair,&& green eyes.

I have been taking dance lessons for about 6 years now (jazz&&ballet),

I have done countless school skits and i have recently played Dorothy in a Middle School Wizard of Oz playy,

I am starting to take singing lessons from my cousin. (singing is her college major),

I have recently gone to a local mall model search and waiting for any upcoming news,

&&i am trying to peruse my parents for acting classes.

Soo what do you think?

You seem to have the passion and drive to become an actress

Though i must tell you that alot of Agents will discredit school shows as they dont really count (Sorry, but thats what it's like!)

I strongly reccomened getting those acting lessons, continuing those singing lessons, join a community theatre and go to any open auditions in your area!

Make sure your the best you can be before you go for an agent!

I've just written all about child actors in my blog this morning. :-) If you really want to be a professional actor then go for it. But you have to have the full support of your parents (they will have to do so much to help you) and fully understand that you'll be going on lots of auditions to get a part.

If I were you I'd try the acting classes first. Look around for a class with an agency attached to it as that is often the easiest way to then get spotted. NEVER pay any fees to agents and check them out before hand.
