Should I start playing World of Warcraft?

I'm a big gamer on my off time and enjoy getting into RPG's. I put in an average 40 hours of work like most every average 25 year old and like to spend a lot of time with friends over the weekends.

I know this all sounds silly... but, Should I start playing World of Warcraft? (The highly addicting MMORPG that's consumed many of teen's lives over the past 4 years)

Well I don't see any reason why not. If you're into MMO's then by all means pick it up, cause it's pretty solid.

It's not without it's flaws though. Like any other MMO there is an endless amount of grind, that being, killing thousands of monsters repetetively for bits of experience, and at times the game can feel mor elike work than a relaxing escape from the real world, but I think overall it's worth the pricetag. 15 bucks a month or so.

YES! World of warcraft is fun, I share an account with my cousin and we both have a lot of characters and most of them are high leveled. The game is well worth it, i'm not obsessed but when i do have free time it's fun to play.

The multiplayer, the worlds, the characters are all great. It's fun.

with nothing to show for it but 7 level 70 toons

that you legally can't sell off lol

it's a fun game, but thats the problem, its too fun..you end up calling in sick to work just so you can make a raid, rushing home to get online, and staying up way too late to finish a quest and being too tired for work the next day

If you don't mind getting addicted to it then go ahead and play it. I'm 29 and still enjoying it. It's actually pretty much all I do outside of work. Anyone can play it at any age. Even though it says 13+ I'm sure there are those even younger than 13 playing it. And surprisingly there are more 20+ year olds playing it. Get it before the next expansion comes out. "Wraith of the Lich king"Get the bundle pack that comes with "Burning Crusades" also. It will be easier for you to start out as either a Draenei or a Blood Elf if you buy the bundle pack. The quest rewards are better. You don't have to PvP if you don't want to. Pick a non pvp server. I actually like RP (Roleplaying servers) better than Normal (PVE) servers.
