What would you do in my place?

I got transferred in the beginning of the year. This left me crying because I wanted to go back and be with all of my friends just as I've suspected my year to go by.

But now, my decision has kind of changed because after the first marking period ended, my grades were high and this made me very surprised.

Please Note that I care 100% about my grades.

But I just needed the opinion of fellow "yahoo" users to tell me what they think I should do and why.

EDIT: Please dont tell me to see a counselor or anything like that. Just please be honest and tell me what you would do in my place.

  1. you should got to the more exiting class because grades are important but fun is more important.

  2. GO FOR THE GRADES.... Take it from someone who did not I really regreat it now.

  3. If you really care about your grades stick with the class that annoyes you. Im also stuck in a class i ABSOLUTELY hate, but im doing so good in it, there;s no point of switching.

  4. Are you learning a lot in this "annoying" class?  What's more important, your friends or your education?  They both matter, but I suggest you do what is best for your education.  God bless you in your studies & goals in life!

  5. stay in the class that annoys u since u get good grades.. but if u wanted to challenge urself, u can get into harder classes.. Ppl are more serious in studying there..

  6. Don't switch. Better grades are really important. Esp if you plan on going to college and getting a good career. You want to be educated. Stick it out!

  7. Stick with the class you get better grades in. If you have time for a class you enjoy more later then you should definitely take it. But there will be time for learning about things you like later on.

  8. choose the harder class. it will be good for you to focus on. never sell yourself short! and give it time, you WILL make friends again.

  9. In which would you learn more?  If your higher grades are an indication that you are learning more in this new class, I would stay there.

You can always hang out with your other friends outside of school.

  10. See i got in a new school this year (i move) so i got put in the low classes so when i found out it was really easy i move out of the class you should learn things in the year

  11. Your grades are the most important things. Beleive me, in the future, you'll be greatfull you did.

  12. Stay in the class where you get good grades.  That is very important in the long run.

  13. Well.

If your a highschool student I suggest just staying there for teh sake of your grades. Good grades will help you a LOT in the future if you intend on attending post-secondary.

If you don't see your future career as something that requires post secondary, then sacrifice the grades and go back to your friends!

    Hope that helps!
