Whats up guys,

When I was in the 7th grade, I signed up for a Kickboxing class, I was in for about 4 months

Then in the 8th Grade I signed up for a Boxing Class at the Same gym, to me Boxing was a lot more fun and it gave you a better work out.

Early this year I signed up for Boxing again, and I was doing Great, but then I got into a car accident last april and was un able to box due to shoulder and neck injuries. I am being released from my Chiroprator Theropy and I am going to sign back up for boxing next week.

The thing is, I have been getting into a lot of the MMA and UFC work outs and i've become intrested in MAYBE start taking classes for that.

I was thinking I should go ahead and sign back up for boxing for 3 months, then Kickboxing for another 3 and then start training at an actual MMA gym next to my house...or should I just stick to boxing?? I kinda want to try somethin new

  1. MMA is a lot more challenging than boxing or kick-boxing. to even be considered an MMA fighter you have to know at least 3 martial arts. The mental and physical strain your body takes from MMA is a lot more demanding than boxing. you first have to familiarize yourself with a variety of martial arts because MMA may only require you to know 3 but there is a variety of different techniques your opponents may use meaning you have know how to defend yourself from them.

  2. if you really want to learn to fight, skip all that sport fighting junk and do Kung fu.

  3. MMA is awesome, it makes you a well rounded fighter and it is very popular now a days.
