Should I still be water-skiing ?

Hi Folks,

My Sons think I am a bit mad, but that is normal.

I strapped on my Chippendale ski (yup, just the one) and flew around the lake last weekend, around the bouys, and a beach finish up the grass.

I am pleased that I haven't forgotten what to do, but the offspring call me mad dad.

Are you a middle aged person that still continues to jump out of aircraft etc ?

  1. keep skiing, younger generations always like to watch more experienced skiers, it's fun and can be a learning experienced for them... I'm 21 and enjoy watching my uncles. and a couple of them are in there mid to late 50s. Ski until the day you can't ski no more!

  2. why not

  3. Go for it as long as you are able. If you enjoy doing something why stop?

You don't say your age, but why let peoples perception of how a middle aged person should behave affect how you spent your time.

We only have one life, live it to it's fullest.

  4. If you still haven't forgotten what to do and you can do it why not do and make your boys happy? The boys will be glad to see you do it again. Go man! You can.

  5. I'd never dare to anything like that - but I think it's great.  Keep going, I bet your sons are proud of you really.  When they get to your age, they'll look back and think how cool you were!
