Should I still get an Ipod Touch??

Question

I want to get an Ipod Touch before school begins since I have the money. I do not know though if I should wait instead until apple comes out with a newer generation since the Ipod Touch is going to be an year old in September. I am not a big music listener since I have never owned a Mp3 or any Ipod before, but I am very interested in its Wi-fi capabilities and Video features, and also Jailbreaking it which I heard opens up more doors in which your Itouch can do.

Oh, I if I am getting one its going to be a 8 GB.(any negatives?)

So I am asking, should I still get an Ipod touch?

i had an iPod Touch, and i thought the Wi-fi was gonna be really cool, but you can barely use it anywhere.. because you have to use other peoples' networks to get on the internet, and you need a password to use most of them.. other than that and the fact that its insanely over-priced.. i loved it.

If I were you, I'll definitely wait until September or October cause Apple likes delaying their products for "unknown reasons". Its not that long a wait, just a few more weeks and rumors of a new iPod Touch is very likely to be true, a lot of evidence.

For all of you people who's gonna say things like"Don't Jailbreak your iPod, you'll destory/brick/make it useless/whatever c**p you could come up with, search on Google on "How to "unbrick" your iPod". If anyone feels like arguing with me on Jailbreaking, please, don't post it here cause we're here to help the guy solve his problem and personal matters should be emailed to me.
