Should I stop paying my mortgage now? I don't have any troubles paying it but if the taxpayers are going to bail people out on just want my share. When will the madness stop?

  2. Do you owe more than what your house is worth and you can't refinance to fix that situation?  If so, yes.  It's the only rational thing to do.

  3. NO, its not a good idea, you still have to think about your credit score and reputation. Madness yes, I agree.
