Should I stop talking to my best friend because my X? HELP?

My ex fiance, met me having a close female friend, a lot of rumors at work before I got together with my ex but she told me that she understood my friendship. Time past and she asked me to stop hanging out with her and I did. Then she asked me to stop talking to her/ I told her OK but I never did because my friend has been there for me and we never did anything wrong. Eventually we broke up our engagament because 90% of the issues was me talking to my friend, and she even accused me of sleeping with her. I put everything in the open and emailed the both of them just to proof that I was not doing anything wrong. My ex still didnt believe me or my friend, my ex said that my friend is lying for me. The problem is that my friend is a very nice looking girl and even though she was involved in a relationship, my ex couldnt let it go and she even started looking into my phone and opening my mail.. she did caugh me a couple of times txting stupid stuff to my friend but nothing bad.

What should I do?? I'm not with my ex anymore we broke up a couple of weeks ago. She just dont want to believe that I never did anything.

I also have a best female friend, and she is hot !

But she is only my friend, and my wife has no problem, with that

of course I try not to make a big deal about my friend, in front of my ex.

So no, you should not leave your best friend for anyone

any other friend or love interest should understand your relationship with her, if they really care about you.

It is unreasonable for any partner to expect total time.  You must keep your friend.  Obviously your friend is a better person than your ex.  Friendships can last forever.  True, lifelong friends are very rare and need to be kept when found.  They are the ones that will hang with you no matter what you go through in your life.  I can't say the same about most partners.
