  1. Don't write too many about him or you're just going to go back to square one.

For reals I wrote so much about this girl I liked, and sometimes when I read back i start to think of her.  Write whatever, but be careful.

By the way if you're still writing about him, I'm willing to guess that you're not over him completely.

  2. honestly if it helped you it is good but continuing to write about him just makes you think of him when you should open your site to new people now

  3. Writing Poems is an art. Use it for constructive and beneficial purposes. Every time you think of some one who you do not like, you create a negative impulse on your mind. Now, think is it necessary to create a bad impulse on your sweet mind ??

Be gentle to handle the thoughts. Use your art in some good job

  4. If he inspires you i guess you could keep writing.

  5. Why not, you can write poems about anything you want.

  6. use him as a model for your poetry, just like a painter, then throw him a way.

  7. yea most likley if ur over him

  8. You're writing poems solely to "get over" this boy?  Or do you write poems for enjoyment?  If you do not like writing poems about him, then yes,  I think you should stop.  Otherwise,  go ahead, continue doing so.

  9. William Wordsworth, the celebrated romantic poet has defined poetry as "Emotions recollected in tranquility".

...By your own admission, writing poems has indeed helped you to calmly analyse your cancelled relationship - and even manage to 'get over him'.

...After you have 'got over him', there is no fun in 'crying over spilt milk', or 'flogging a dead horse' any more - because these will simply be a second post mortem of the failed relationship !

Move away, move on, and move ahead, dear child : Write ALL the poems you feel like - but they should only be optimistic ones about what all you have, and what all you can accomplish in the days ahead...

Then your life and future will really turn into 'one long sweet song'. And inspire those who read your poems too.

    :-)

    God Bless you, dear.

  10. Are you truly over him? Writing poetry needs not only be a cathartic exercise. Why not try to write about new interests? Is there anyone or anything that interests you enough to attempt to write about him/her/it?

Give it a try? What harm can there possibly be?

    Good luck!!
