  1. well, you don't need to if you stretch all the time, or you swim all the time, I don't stretch and I'm still alive.

  2. yes, its not about getting cramps or not, its about your joints and muscles. i have pulled several muscles in my legs because i didn't stretch so be sure to stretch out your legs. plus girls on the swim team have had their shoulders pop out during practice, so stretch!

  3. I would just stretch a little, nothing serious in the change room, or once I'm done warm-up laps in the pool...or if you're competing, I stretched in between when I had to go for races

  4. yes

  5. its kind of pointless to stretch before you swim.  you should stretch after you do a short warm up because your muscels are warmer and will respond better to the stretching.

if your doing a 2 hour work out, swim for about 30 minutes warm up then stretch for about 10 minutes then continue on :D

    good luck with that.

  6. Yes deffinetly! if you dont, you will be at higher risk of pulling a muscle or hurting yourself because your muscles are not warmed up. It will also make u more flexable!

  7. i never strech!

after the warm up my arms would get tight and i would strech them a little bit in the pool, nothing serious.

  8. well yes u should because u might cramp up or get sore in the morning like i did i will never forget it it hurt to do crunches and flip turns cuz my abs hurt soo bad

  9. yes it warms your mussles

  10. yes cuz u could get a cramp
