I don't speak either language and I'm going to be there from January 2009-May 2009. Which place would I have the best time in. Nightlife is a big influence and I'm also 100% Italian. When in Rome? or When in Madrid? Where do I go and why?

  1. Rome Italy is so much better then madrid. There is so much more to see and do. You will never get bored because there is so much to do and you could travel all of Italy. You are also 100% Italian so it would be cool to see where all your relatives lived.

  2. I say Italy. Mostly cause i'm 75% italian. And also spanish and italian are very similar. so it should be easy for you to speak.

  3. Both are kind of messed up. Spain's like a third world country and Rome is a very polluted, narcotic filled, rude, h**l hole!

If you have the chance go to a northern european country like Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Denmark, Holland, Belgium, UK, you catch my drift. You'll have alot more fun there and the people are alot nicer. France is really annoying since the french complain about everything! And I mean everything!

Also if you have the chance I would go to Australia!

  4. hmmmm...i've been to Rome and I really liked it, but I hear Madrid is a cool city as well.  It's up to you.  I would go to Rome since there are so many other cool cities to see in Italy. (Florence, Pisa, Venice, Naples, etc...)

  5. Spain has good nightlife.

  6. Definitely Rome- Italy. Biggest reason because you are 100% Italian and I think it would be good to get back to your roots ???  Rome is amazing! Madrid is fine but nothing compared to Rome. You may consider flying domestically once in Europe since it is so cheap and then you could spend a weekend in Madrid. www.easyjet.com is a good site for cheap flights. Have fun !!!!!

  7. Any of those places will be great, so it all depends on what you like to do.

You can read about each place here:

    Spain

    Italy

    Hope this helps!
