Should I sue this university or ask for my money back?

One of university lost my application package when i mail it to them. It contain transccripts sealed by registrar of my local university in my country. Also references letters and other documents but they lost it. now what should i do? should i sue them or ask them to pay me back the fee?(75$)

  1. The cost to you, actual and in grief, would far outweigh any reasonable expectation of recompense.


  2. You would be unable to sue the university for a number of reasons:

    1) You are unable to prove that it was the university who has lost them, it could have quite easily have been lost in the mail, like thousands of other items each year.

    2) The university would more than likely have a policy which states that they are not responsible for lost or damaged items.

    You will not get your money back, consider sending the package via fax or even try a secured mail service which requires a signiture upon receipt of items.
