Should I switch from MYP to Regular College Prep Classes?

Everyonez shallow and boring, plus in my geography class the MYP teacher chose another job last minute so we have a subsitute teacher, i dont plan on aiming that high for college, if at all, it seems completely useless to me becaues the people around here who did do IB got into the same colleges as those who didnt, I dont see the point of it, should I switch over, and If i do want to go back into IB, switch in Junior year when it actually counts?

Colleges are concerned with you academic and other records from grades 9 and above.

The IB Program is worthwhile. There are many students who are admitted to college on the basis of the IB program. Another factor is that being in an IBO program better prepares you fro college. Much fewer IB students drop out of college and most do better while they are in college./
