Should I switch my 3 iron to a ?

i play just fine with my 3 iron, but i used a hybrid before and its pretty good, but i don't care if its easier to get it high i just want to know if better to use a hybrid than a iron for consistency and accuracy.

i think yu should try the taylormade burner 3 hybrid....i was having the same problem so i bought the hybrid and it improved my game.that would be my information to give to you other than that is book a long iron lesson

hybrid, no. If you are saying a 5 wood yes. I say that irons are more versatile though.

A hybrid between 23 and 19 degrees loft.

If you really need distance maybe a 7 wood, assuming you already have a 3 and 5 wood.

If you don’t need distance, maybe a wedge.

i hate my hybrid. its a different swing weight to the rest of my irons. not the same feel. i just stick to irons and woods. its better that way

Switch it to a Hybrid its easier to hit than to the longer iron. Try the Taylor Made Burner Hybrid. I drop my 3 and 4 irons for a hybrid. Good Luck!

if you never use the three iron or have very little use for it put a different wedge in the bag .or look at possible a hybrids in your bag that has the same loft as three iron .

If you are not hitting your 3 iron well, you may want to switch to one of the many hybrids available today.  They are easier to hit consistently.

It works well for me and I have taken my 3-4 irons out of my bag.

No.  Anything you switch to other than a 1 or 2 iron, like a hybrid or 7 wood will not allow you to hit the ball low.  All the modern alternatives are designed to get the ball up in the air quickly and take a high trajectory.  What will you use when you need to hit a low punch shot under a tree limb for example that still has to carry over a 100 yards?  Modern 3 irons aren't that hard to hit (it is mostly in your head) so just work on making a smooth swing and keep it in the bag.

If you cant hit a 3 iron take it out of your bad and get a good 7 wood.  Its easier to hit that a 3 or a hybrid club a goes farther with less effort.  Plus a fairway wood is easier to hit from the rough than a 3 or hybrid.
