Question:

Should I switch to left?

I shoot left in hockey, and lax, and I bat left... but I recently went golfing and was swining (is that the correct termanology) right. It was the more comfortable way. So if I were to go again would I become a stonger golfer if I went back to my lefty ways, or is it easy to get the hang of a right swing?

  1. stay right because it makes you more comfortable this happened to me its not which way is stronger but which way is more comfortable and the more comfortable the more skill you probably will have if you stay right. so stay right.

    good luck

  2. Stick to right-handed if you're at all able to. I am a lefty, and it's a royal pain trying to find equipment. Even at the club I belong to, which has a pretty high % of lefties...there is always like 1 LH putter for sale...maybe 1-2 drivers...

Plus, every time you play with someone new, you have to put up with the inevitable "You're standing on the wrong side of the ball!" joke. That was funny the first 48,000 times I heard it, Righty.

  3. no keep up with one!

  4. Pretty much personal preference. The only other issue is your dominant eye, I believe you normally want it closer to your target. I'm right handed, but my right eye is dominant. It took me some time to figure out exactly where I was aiming but left handed really wasn't an option for me.

Of course equipment is much easier to find right handed, but you can find both.

  5. If you have started righty, then i would stick to beeing righty. First try putting lefty, if that feels right then try swinging clubs .
